You'll also notice that there is no advertising on this site.  Every link (unless otherwise explicitly stated) has been chosen by myself.  I fund this website myself and I'm not interested in selling any of the work and lessons that you'll find here.  That being said, however, if you'd like to offer me something material for what I've provided then feel free to check out my Amazon Wishlist and send me something from there or deposit something in my paypal account.

The following details certain policies that I have relating to the content, comments and trackbacks found on Russell's Teapot.

Content

All of the content found on Russell's Teapot, unless otherwise stated, is subject to a site wide license.

All of the content reflects my thoughts and opinions and should be seen as such.  Further, it is entirely feasible that my thoughts and opinions will change over time so please keep this in mind while reading the material on this site.  In fact, much of the content filed under the Uni Papers section of Russell's Teapot does not reflect my varied opinions so please do not claim it does without first checking with me.

I respectfully request that if you reproduce any of this material elsewhere that you do so in accordance with the Russell's Teapot license and link back to the Russell's Teapot homepage.

Comments

Comments are an integral aspect of an interactive website and I thoroughly enjoy reading other's perspectives of my writings.  Comments on Russell's Teapot are therefore not currently moderated.  However this may be subject to change should users abuse the following.

Comments should be kept civil and not resort to offensive use of language.  By offensive I do not mean that certain individual words cannot be used, although their context is very important.  I will remove any comments that abuse others or are rude to others.

You are free to criticise my opinions and the opinions of others.  In fact it is highly encouraged.  However, resorting to ad hominem attacks will not be tolerated.

If I find any information to be plagarised or otherwise incorrect in a comment I will post a comment myself alerting the commentator to this fact.  The commentator will then have the opportunity to rectify the issue.  After all, it may be I who is mistaken.

The final decision about whether a comment is to be kept or not rests with me.  If you feel that there is a comment that should be removed then please use the contact form on this site to alert me.

Trackbacks

I will only accept two-way trackbacks on Russell's Teapot unless an agreement has been privately arranged.  I've had to instigate this policy as Spamers are abusing one-way trackbacks for promotion of their sites, mainly pornography.  It is not uncommon to receive over one hundred one-way trackbacks per day on Russell's Teapot so I have currently disabled the publication of them.

The difference between a one-way and a two-way trackback is a one-way trackback will direct reader's from this site to the trackback site but will not direct readers from the trackback site to this site.  A two-way trackback will direct reader's from this site to the trackback site and will direct readers from the trackback site to this site.
